Era (Ira) Series tablets are launched in India and is supposed to compete against the market of world’s low priced Akash Tablet. Mumbai based Wishtel India is the manufacturer behind the pocket sized Era (Ira) Thing Tablet and Era (Ira) Budget Tablets. Though Ira was showcased in the press meet with an Android 2.2 Froyo OS Wishtel claimed that the original version will carry Adnroid 2.3 gingerbread OS. This Ira tablet will also work in Linux’s Sugar OS.
